On January 8 of this year, by Decision N 8-A of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the process for developing the 2027 State Budget of the Republic of Armenia was approved. The decision also establishes the timeline for preparing the 2027–2029 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and the 2027 Draft State Budget, including projections for expenditures and revenues for 2028 and 2029.

According to the approved timeline, within the framework of next year’s budget submissions, submitting state bodies are required to publish announcements on their official websites regarding the organization of consultations with civil society organizations by April 1, 2026. Consultations with civil society organizations are planned to be conducted by June 1, 2026.

The involvement of civil society representatives in the budget preparation process aims to ensure transparency, public participation, and accountability, contributing to the more effective and qualitative formulation of state budget programs.
