The document is aimed to study the specifics of informal, unpaid care provided mainly by women in the families of persons who acquired a disability as a result of the war, its social, economic, physical and psychological impacts, as well as to identify systemic problems in the field and gaps in support mechanisms, taking into account the interconnections of social protection, gender equality, labor and the rights of persons with disabilities, healthcare, psychosocial support and public finances.

This document has been developed within the framework of the “The Value of Care and the Public Budget” sub-grant project implemented by the “Regional Development and Research Center” NGO, within the framework of the Budgets for Citizens project, implemented with the financial support of the European Union by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, in cooperation with the Economic Development and Research Center and Agora Central Europe (Czech Republic).
