Within the framework of the “Budgets for Citizens” project, a simplified budget training for citizens is being launched. The goal of the training is to enhance citizens’ capacities in budgetary processes and to encourage their active participation in these processes.

All citizens interested in the budgetary process in the Republic of Armenia and wishing to gain a better understanding of the principles of state budget formation, allocation, control, and advocacy within these processes are invited to participate.

The training will be conducted online through an e-learning platform. Participants will have access to webinars, text-based and test-based lessons, allowing them to acquire the necessary knowledge in a flexible and interactive way.

The training program includes four topics:

• Two topics dedicated to the budgetary process

• Two topics focused on advocacy

Participation in the training is free and open to all interested citizens.

Upon completion of the training, participants will receive online certificates.

It should be noted that the “Budgets for Citizens” program (December 8, 2022 – December 7, 2026) is implemented with the financial support of the European Union, in cooperation with the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO, the Economic Development and Research Center NGO, and Agora Central Europe NGO (Czech Republic).
