“Providing Nominal Scholarships to Students of General Education Schools” is a measure of the “General Education” Programme, which is provided as support to the students of the general education schools who participate in and win Olympiads. Students who are winners of republican stages of subject Olympiads, prize winners and participants in the final stages of International Subject Olympiads, as well as prize winners in the final stages of other International School Olympiads (with the participation of at least 15 countries) are provided a nominal scholarship.
28 Olympiads were held in 2024. 416 schoolchildren are the winners and participants of the final stages of the Republican Olympiads and the final stages of the International Olympiads.
AMD 42.5 mln were allocated for the provision of nominal scholarships in 2024.

According to the Order N 52-N of 12 May, 2023, of the RA MoESCS: the diploma holders of the republican stages of the RA School Subject Olympiads are granted a nominal scholarship in the following monthly amount:
• First-class diploma holders – 10,000 AMD,
• Second-class diploma holders – 7,500 AMD,
• Third-class diploma holders – 5,000 AMD.
Prizewinners or participants in the final stages of International Subject Olympiads for schoolchildren are awarded a nominal scholarship in the following monthly amount:
• First-class diploma holders (gold medalists) – 25,000 AMD,
• Second-class diploma holders (silver medalists) – 20,000 AMD,
• Third-class diploma holders (bronze medalists) – 15,000 AMD,
• Awarded with a certificate of merits – 12,000 AMD,
• Other finalists – 10,000 AMD.
Prizewinners in the final stages of other International School Olympiads (with the participation of at least 15 countries) are awarded a nominal scholarship in the following monthly amount:
• First-class diploma holders (gold medalists) – 15,000 AMD,
• Second-class diploma holders (silver medalists) – 10,000 AMD,
• Third-class diploma holders (bronze medalists) – 7,500 AMD.
