AMD 299.7 bln, or about 8.7% of state budget expenditures, will be allocated to the Education Sector in 2025.

44.3% of expenditures allocated for education, or about AMD 132.8 bln, are allocated to provide free general education, more than AMD 99.3 bln to the construction and renovation of schools and kindergartens, as well as provision of property, and AMD 22.1 bln to compensation of the students’ tuition fees.

The Government of the RA plans to increase the allocations to the education sector in 2025 by 4.1% or AMD 12 bln compared to 2024. In recent years, the Government has consistently increased allocations for the sector. For example, allocations for the education sector in 2025 will exceed the allocations to the sector in 2021 for about 2 times.
