The analysis is aimed to present the structure of the financial resources allocated to the social protection sector within the framework of the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2025, the trends of changes in volume of allocations, and the main directions. It aims to assess the priorities of the state policy, the dynamics of sector financing, and their alignment with strategic goals such as poverty reduction, ensuring social guarantees, and improving demographic issues. The analysis aims to increase the transparency of the budgetary processes of the sector and raise public awareness as well.
This analysis has been developed with the financial support of the European Union within the framework of a sub-grant provided under the “Budgets for Citizens” action implemented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, in cooperation with partners “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC) NGO and “Agora Central Europe” NGO (Czech Republic).
