About 288 billion drams or about 9.0% of the Annual Budget expenditures will be allocated to the education sector in 2024.

About 42.4% of the expenditures of the education sector or about AMD 122 bln will be allocated to the provision of free public education, more than AMD 100 bln to the construction and renovation of schools and kindergartens, and AMD 23 bln to the reimbursement of students’ tuition fees.

The RA Government plans to increase expenditures of the education sector by 50.1% or AMD 96 bln in 2024. In recent years, the Government has consistently increased the financing of the sector. For example, in 2024, 2.4 times more than in 2018 will be allocated to the financing of the education sector.

For example, 2.4 times more funds will be allocated to funding the education sector in 2024 than in 2018.
