The Government plans to allocate AMD 229.9 bln from the 2025 state budget to Economic Development, which is 7.0% of the planned state budget expenditures.
471% of expenditures, or AMD 107.9 bln, is planned to allocate to the construction, renovation and maintenance of roads.
The second largest area of expenditures on economic development is state support for the agricultural sector.
In total, AMD 43.5 bln is planned to allocate to agriculture, and another AMD 26.6 bln to improving water infrastructure, including the construction and renovation of reservoirs and irrigation systems.
It is expected that expenditures in this direction will decrease by 14% compared to the previous year, and will increase by more than 1.4 times compared to 2021.
