The Government plans to allocate AMD 266 bln for economic relations from the 2024 Annual Budget, which is equivalent to 8.3% of the planned Total Budget Expenditures. It is expected that expenditures in this direction will increase compared to the previous year, and more than twice compared to 2018.

47.1% of the expenditures or AMD 125 bln are planned to be directed to the construction, overhaul and maintenance of roads. The second major direction of expenditures on economic development is state support for the agricultural sector. In general, AMD 45 bln are planned to be allocated to agriculture, and another AMD 35 bln are planned to be allocated to the improvement of water infrastructure, including the construction and repair of reservoirs and irrigation systems.
