From every 1,000 drams spent from the state budget, AMD 163 will be allocated to pensions and AMD 36 to social security benefits.

Social protection continues to be one of the priority directions of the RA state policy. According to the 2025 state budget, it is planned to allocate more than AMD 905.6 bln for social protection, which is 26.3% of the planned expenditures of the state budget.

It is planned to allocate 61.8% of the expenditures, or AMD 560.3 bln to the pension security of the population, AMD 122.7 bln to social security, and 8.8% to improving the demographic situation in the country.

It is expected that expenditures in this direction will increase by 14% compared to the previous year, and will increase by more than 1.5 times compared to 2021.
