Overall objective of the project
To promote transparency, accountability and fair competition in the public procurement process by developing capacity in the process of drafting technical specifications for contracts concluded within the framework of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Public Procurement”, improving the quality and approval of public procurement results.
Specific objectives of the project
- To contribute to the development of the capacities of employees of public contracting authorities for the accurate, measurable, and well-justified drafting of technical specifications, through awareness-raising and public participation.
- To support to the development of the professional knowledge and practical skills of the responsible persons who evaluate contract outcomes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and objective assessment of actual contract performance, as well as promoting public oversight of contracts, through advocacy campaigns.
