Overall objective of the project
To contribute to promotion of reforms in the food safety system and poultry production sector of Armenia, from the perspective of protecting consumer health and ensuring access to safe and high-quality food.
Specific objectives of the project
- To identify food safety risks and systemic issues in the import and production sectors of poultry.
- To analyze how these issues may affect consumer health and food safety.
- To develop policy and budgetary recommendations that will be submitted to the relevant state authorities.
- To promote effective collaboration with scientific and research centers.
- To ensure the availability of safe and competitive local poultry for consumers.
- To expand the participation of civil society and the professional community in budgeting processes and enhance their influence on decision-making.
