Overall objective of the project
To initiate evidence-based and participatory policy dialogue in the social protection sector on the systemic gaps in personal assistant services for persons with disabilities, the valuation of care burdens in households, and the interconnection between these two components, in order to support the development of a more equitable and inclusive budget policy.
Specific objectives of the project
- To develop an evidence-based and well-founded policy position on the connection between personal assistant services and the burden of care in families predominantly borne by women, based on legal, budgetary, and participatory analysis.
- To form of a public and political agenda based on a developed policy position through intensive advocacy, creating a basis for improving budgetary policy in the social assistance sector.
