Overall objective of the project

Contribute to increasing the transparency, accountability, and efficiency of justice sector bodies through analysis of the interrelationship between budget allocations and public procurement.

Specific objectives of the project

• Conduct an analysis of the structure of the state budget of justice sector bodies to understand the logic of distribution of allocated funds.
• Compare budget allocations with public procurement in the given sector to identify inefficient and/or repetitive spending and other corruption risks.
• Publish a simplified analysis accessible to citizens and professionals interested in this field, contributing to the development of participatory budgeting and transparency of budgetary processes in the justice sector.

Promote strengthening of public oversight and fostering public participation in budgetary processes.
