Overall objective of the project
To promote the implementation of transparent and inclusive budget processes in the Vanadzor community with the participation of civil society through monitoring of procurement carried out within the framework of state and subsidy programmes.
Specific objectives of the Project
- Promote the strengthening of civil society participation in budget processes, particularly through increasing the transparency and efficiency of public procurement.
- Ensure public oversight over major infrastructure projects implemented in Vanadzor community through the application of anti-corruption mechanisms and promoting public participation.
- Develop the capacities of local CSOs in the field of budget monitoring and oversight of procurement processes.
