Financing education is one of the most important investments of the state, which directly affects the development of the country and the well-being of its citizens. A quality education system creates a thinking, creative and competitive society, which is capable to confront contemporary challenges. It is planned to allocate AMD 324.9 bln for the education sector in 2025.

Various budget programmes covering general education, pre-school education, various levels of vocational education, improvement of educational infrastructure, development of inclusive education, promotion of scientific research and introduction of technologies in the field of education will be implemented in education sector.

One of the most important initiatives for 2025 is the Creation of Academic City Programme, which aims to create a modern environment for quality higher education and research.
