The total budget allocated to agricultural sector of Armenia for 2026, is approximately AMD 39.4 bln. This funding aims to develop the sector, improve efficiency, and ensure long-term sustainability. Agriculture constitutes a small but important part of the state budget, which supports the modernization of the sector and socially significant initiatives.
The budget is directed towards various programs, including the modernization of agricultural technical systems, investment in intensive orchards, the breeding of new animal breeds, increasing agricultural production and food volumes, as well as the restoration and development of rural infrastructure.
Programs to promote veterinary services and crop production are planned as well.
