The share of financing of the Social Protection Sector in the state budget for 2024 is 24.8 %. 17 programmes, which are aimed at supporting various social groups, providing pensions, providing housing, and employment, are being implemented in the Social Protection Sector.

It is planned to allocate AMD 847.3 bln to the social protection sector in 2024, which has increased by 20 %compared to the previous year, or by AMD 141.6 bln. And it is planned to allocate AMD 905.6 bln to the programme, which will increase by 7 % compared to 2024, or by AMD 58.4 bln.
The figure shows allocations to the Social Protection Sector budget programmes for the period of 2021-2025 (in AMD).
The largest shares of budget funding will be allocated to the Pension Security Programme: 58 % or AMD 493.9 bln; Social Security Programme: 13 % or AMD 113.5 bln; and the Improving Demographic Situation Programme: 8 % or AMD 68.3 bln respectively.
