AMD 316.8 bln had been planned to allocate for the development of the education sector of Armenia in 2024. This amount significantly exceeds the allocation to the sector in the previous year and makes almost 10% of the expenditures of the state budget. The Ministry of Education had planned to carry out construction, reconstruction and major renovation work of at least 300 schools and 500 kindergartens using these funds.

The bulk of budget funds will be directed to the development of general education, construction of schools and kindergartens, as well as to scientific research.
