On 10 May, the annual celebration of Europe Day under the motto “EU–Armenia: Closer Than Ever” took place at Freedom Square in Yerevan; the event featured pavilions showcasing the activities and initiatives of programs implemented in cooperation with the EU. As part of this initiative, programs implemented jointly with the EU were showcased in individual pavilions, highlighting their activities and initiatives.

The “Budgets for Citizens” project, implemented with by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, in cooperation with the “Economic Development and Research Center” NGO and “Agora Central Europe” from Czech Republic also participated the event

The project team presented to the public the goals, implemented initiatives, and achieved results of the project, emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of participatory and transparent budgeting in Armenia.
