Overall objective of the project
To advance the recommendations identified through the analysis of the “Simplified Budget 2024 regarding Food Security Oversight”, as part of reviewing the risks in food safety, and to strengthen food security in the Republic of Armenia, particularly by advocating for the production of local poultry.
Specific objectives of the project
- To propose changes to the risk assessment criteria for food control, that would ensure more equitable oversight of both imported and locally produced meat products.
- To develop and present to the Armenian state authorities recommendations aimed at strengthening food security in the Republic of Armenia, supporting the expansion of local poultry production and advocating for locally produced poultry.
