On November 18, an awareness seminar was held at Yerevan State University’s Faculty of Economics and Management within the framework of the “Budgets for Citizens” project. The event aimed to introduce students to new opportunities for developing young specialists’ budgetary capabilities.
The seminar began with a welcome speech by Anahit Mardoyan, Armenian Lawyers’ Association representative and project assistant. She provided a detailed presentation of the project’s main objectives, outcomes, and the advantages of the budgets.am online platform for budget knowledge exchange.
Special attention was paid to the educational program for developing young specialists’ skills, which offers participants a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop professional capabilities in the budgetary sector.
Lilit Hakobyan, representative of the Center for Economic Development and Research and project expert, addressed the budgetary component of the educational program in her speech, presenting its key advantages.
The seminar concluded with active discussions, during which students received comprehensive answers to their questions. Many students have already expressed their interest in participating in the project.
