Call for Sub-Grant Applications for CSOs (Mass Media) to involve Young Specialists from Budget Sector in CSOs/Mass Media on Employment Basis

The “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” (the lead organization) and partners “Economic Development and Research Center (EDRC) and AGORA Central Europe (AGORA), a Czech NGO, are currently implementing the “Budgets 4 Citizens” (B4C) project (hereinafter referred to as the Project). The Project, among other activities, plans to provide sub-grants to CSOs and Media.

At this stage of the Project, the start of the second sub-grants to CSOs and Mass Media, which have successfully participated and passed the budget training program organized for CSOs and Mass Media, and applied for the sub-grant programs aimed at budget monitoring and analysis within the framework of the project, is announced. The call is aimed to involve young specialists from budget sector in CSOs/Mass Media on employment basis.

The overall objective of the sub-grant is to provide professional assistance to CSOs/Mass Media that applied for sub-grant programs announced within the framework of the Project by providing employment contract for at least one year in the CSOs/Mass Media aimed at implementation of the above-mentioned sub-grant programs.

The overall objectives also include: budget analysis, monitoring of target sectors and its improvement, including development of simplified budgets of target sectors, as well as ensuring public participation in these processes and increasing public influence.

The target sectors and sectoral directions are:  (1) Justice, (2) Education, (3) Social assistance and (4) Agriculture.

Deadline for applications:  13 October, 2024 at 18:00.
