The Government plans to allocate AMD 224 bln from the 2024 Annual Budget to ensure public order, security, and judicial activities, which totals to 7.0% of the planned expenditures the Budget. It is planned to allocate 34.0% of the expenditures or AMD 76 bln for the development of the state policy and coordination of its implementation in the sphere of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as to the development, implementation, monitoring, consulting and support services of state programs. 23.3% of the expenditures AMD 52 bln will be allocated to the sphere of the National Security, including the organization of intelligence, counterintelligence activities, the fight against crime and activities to protect the state border.

It is expected that the expenditure in this direction will increase compared to the previous year, and more than twice compared to 2018.
