On 19 April, the participants of the budget training for young professionals launched within the framework of the “Budgets for Citizens” action had an online discussion with experts of the budget component of the program, Ms Karine Harutyunyan, Executive Director of the “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC), and Ms Lilit Hakobyan, representative of EDRC.
At the beginning of the online meeting, the experts welcomed the participants noting their interest and willingness to attend the training and expressed hope that the participants would have a long and interesting educational journey.
During the discussion, the participants of the online phase of training directed questions to the experts regarding the topics of the first “budget knowledge” section.
The participants raised a number of questions regarding the formation of public orders, public goods, public sector budgets and the budget process in general, and received comprehensive answers from the experts.
At the end of the meeting, the participants mentioned that they will continue the educational process with even greater interest.
The “Budgets 4 Citizens” (B4C) action (8 December, 2022 – 7 December, 2026) is being implemented with the financial support of the European Union by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, in cooperation with partners “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC) NGO and “Agora Central Europe” NGO (Czech Republic).
