On 14 March, an awareness seminar on the educational program aimed at developing the budgetary abilities of young professionals implemented within the framework of the “Budgets for Citizens” Project was held for the students of the Armenian National Agrarian University.
Students of the faculty of Agribusiness and Economics of the ANAU participated in the seminar.
Project Assistant Ms Anahit Mardoyan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, welcomed the students and noted their willingness to participate in the seminar. She presented to the attention of the students the project objectives, target areas, expected results, and also introduced the newly created budgets.am budget knowledge exchange platform.
Further the speaker talked about the budgetary training program, presented the training program aimed at developing the skills of young professionals planned within the framework of the Program, emphasizing its advantages, opportunities and results.
Project Expert on Budget Issues Ms Lilit Hakobyan, representative of the “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC) NGO, presented the budget component of the Action in more details and urged the participants to participate in the training to obtain a publicly available budget knowledge.
At the end of the seminar, students interested in budget training asked questions about the dates of the training, stages and application procedure.
